R2E professionals bring extensive refinery experience to clients – collectively, the R2E team has either worked in, advised, and/or analyzed many if not most of the world’s crude oil refineries. Our team has direct experience in every element of these facilities, including the dozens of different processing units, catalyst selection, licensed technology selection, preventative maintenance, turnarounds, control systems and technologies, and many others. This experience and our Refinery Operations Economic Optimization (ROEO) tool allows our team to quickly identify the source of operational issues and inefficiencies – and propose the right solutions to improve operations fast.


R2E’s Integrated Operations Management (IMOM) system helps clients maximize the value of their hydrocarbon value chain. IMOM sits between the client’s Distributed Control System and its ERP system, managing refinery operations and distribution of refined products. IMOM processes and technologies improve production planning & scheduling, mass balance reconciliation, production accounting and real time data management, among others. Its modern integration infrastructure moves data and delivers key information to the right people at the right time to support the decision-making process. R2E’s IMOM system helps clients design and implement complex refinery solutions successfully and efficiently.


R2E’s extensive LNG experience allows us to help companies evaluate, initiate, develop, construct and operate LNG liquefaction, transportation, terminal operations and regasification projects. In particular, R2E can help clients address the main tasks of facility design, and construction – as well as the sometimes-overlooked but important ancillary tasks related to operations, scheduling, business procedures and supply planning.
